About MAA Foundation:
Mother in Hindi, also known as Mother in English, is a charitable organization which was started by the Bilakhia family to bring educational reforms in the society. Maa Foundation is based outside Vapi, Gujarat and also has another office in Bhavnagar. The Maa Foundation was started in 1907 by Nurbaima, a gold medalist and grandmother of the Bilkhiya brothers. Its purpose in starting this foundation was to educate more and more people which in turn would help them to stand on their own feet. The aim of Maa Foundation is to make Valsad district a role model in education. Some of the projects undertaken by the Foundation are Ken, Upbringing, Gyan, Vidya, Saath, Udan, Vikas, Samarth and other local community projects.
